In a heart-warming initiative aimed at empowering widows and vulnerable women in Langtang South and Mikang LGA’s to provide sustainable livelihood opportunities for the beneficiaries.
The presentation of Piglets to widows and vulnerable women in Langtang South and Mikang LGAs is a shining example of Community-Driven empowerment initiative that has the potential to creating lasting positive impact and improve the livelihoods of marginalized groups.
During the presentation, a total number of 200 widows and vulnerable women were each provided with two(2) Piglets ( Male and Female).
The beneficiaries were also given training on Piggery techniques, proper feeding practices and basic business management skills to ensure the success of their ventures.
They expressed their gratitude for the support, stating that the initiative would not only provide them with a source of income but also empower them to become self-reliant and support their family.
The Community Heads commended the ACReSAL Project for their efforts in uplifting the lives of vulnerable women in the community and pledged their support for similar initiatives in the future.
